Join in the celebration at the Marina Golden Zone where we always have something special prepared just for you. Here, you will find great Duty Free savings on your favorite brands at the many boutiques inside Luxury Avenue.

Our many restaurants offer great ambiance accompanied by live music and special menus year round, depending on the celebration. So enjoy your stay with us and join in the fun in one or all of the following special events.

Special Celebrations:

  • Valentine’s Day — February 14th, find the best gift for that special someone at Luxury Avenue Boutique Mall, and top it off with a romantic dinner for two at any of our many waterfront restaurants.
  • Spring Season Begins — March 21st, enjoy Cabo’s perfect weather shopping for the latest Spring and Summer fashions while dining in our beautiful open air terraces at Los Deseos Restaurant Bar or our beautiful Deck Bar at Baja Lobster Co.
  • Spring Celebrations Continue — April 30th, pamper the young and enjoy their smiling faces as they run freely on our waterfront, or while enjoying a delicious desert while watching our resident sea lions peeking between yachts anchored at the marina.
  • Mother’s Day in Mexico — May 10th, celebrate mom’s day in Los Cabos, Mexico, the way she deserves by shopping for that special gift at the many boutique shops inside Luxury Avenue. And, in our restaurants, the best ambiance for either lunch or dinner.
  • Father’s Day — June 21st, celebrate dad by giving that special watch or wardrobe gift from Luxury Avenue. Treat that do an authentic Mexican dinner, lobster or Tequila tasting at the establishments of the Marina Golden Zone.
  • 4th of July Celebrations — July 4th, celebrate U.S. Independence in style, here in Cabo San Lucas. Our large and established expat community is a regular at the many restaurants, shops and boutiques found in the Marina Golden Zone.
  • ¡Viva Mexico! — September 16th, come celebrate Mexican Independence Day with us by wearing green, white and red while enjoying a classic margarita at La Cantina at the Museo del Tequila, on the waterfront. Enjoy live Mariachi bands as you dine on our spectacular marian setting.
  • Trick or Treat! — October 31st, celebrate Halloween and Day of the Dead, by wearing our best costume. Enjoy this tradition on our beautiful marina waterfront, as kids of all ages, and their families dress up and enjoy an afternoon of great food and play.
  • Happy Thanksgiving — November 24th, celebrate Thanksgiving with specially prepared Thanksgiving fare at the many restaurants located along our waterfront. Each year, thousands of tourists as well as local residents converge on the marina to celebrate with family and friends.
  • Merry Christmas — December 25th, feel the Christmas spirit at the Marina Golden Zone and shop with holiday cheer at the many shops and boutiques located inside Luxury Avenue. Enjoy our Restaurants specialty traditional holiday fare, as well as classic all American favorites
  • Bring in the New Year — December 31st, celebrate New Years Eve at the Marina Golden Zone with an unforgettable atmosphere, the lights of the Cabo San Lucas marina as your backdrop and the best shopping and dining in town.

Specialty Events:

  • Cabo Marine Show — Cabo’s only International Boat Show and Marine Products and Services expo takes place annually during the month of April. Waterfront admission is free to the general public, with luxury yachts on display, live entertainment and more than 40 local and foreign vendors. Don’t miss it!
  • Golden Day — In partnership with the Los Cabos Tourism Office, every Wednesday you will find on our waterfront, different cultural events for the whole family to enjoy, only at the Marina Golden Zone
  • Mercabo — July 22, 23 and 24. Partake in the first Advertising, Marketing, Design, Communications Media, Tourism and Public Relations festival of Los Cabos, where a series of workshops will be presented by local and national industry experts.
  • Marina Golden Party — Held in October, this event is in appreciation of all of our local tourism promoters and suppliers, who recommend and promote our services to the vising public. Raffles, live entertainment, food and more in a celebration of CAbo.

Sport Fishing Tournaments:

  • Los Cabos Billfish Tournament — October 11-15. Weigh-ins take place at the Marina Cabo San Lucas Waterfront next to the ramp and Puerto Paraiso Mall. 2011 will celebrate its 13th year in a row for this well known Los Cabos tradition.
  • Los Cabos Offshore Tournament — October 14-16, this historic event takes place annually in Cabo San Lucas and is one of the most famous fishing tournaments in the world.
  • Bisbee’s Black and Blue Tournament — October 18-22. Registration and cocktail party is set in Puerto Paraiso Mall, in the heart of the Marina Golden Zone. Winning purse has been known to rank in the 2 million dollar range.
